This new historical site invites you to explore a huge German hospital bunker which is in full swing following a naval battle off Sables d’Olonne. It has remained intact since it was built in 1943 and includes 20 rooms which are still fully furnished with their original equipment! Over 350m², bring the whole family to explore this modern museum devoted to the World War II in Vendée. Various scenes are re-enacted with 45 mannequins in uniform, illustrated panels, captivating film…

You don’t have time or can’t come in Vendee?
You can now visit the bunker from home on your computer or tablet thanks to a 360° camera.
The visit of the outside of the bunker is free.
Once you are at the front desk you just have to click on “I take a ticket”. You pay € 4,99 and have 24 hours to make the guided virtual tour of the bunker with the two creators of the museum.
